Apublic lighting control system to save energy

At Concept Light, we have a team of technicians who are experts in the study and design of public lighting solutions. Our team will work with you and advise you on your public lighting projects, taking into account your needs, constraints and objectives.

We offer innovative, cost-effective urban lighting control solutions that enable you to control your equipment remotely and in real time, using sensors and connected boxes.

Our street lighting control systems offer a number of advantages:

  • You can adapt the light intensity according to weather conditions, road traffic or the level of occupation of public spaces. In this way, you can avoid wasting energy by lighting too brightly or for too long, and reduce light pollution.
  • You can detect faults or malfunctions in your equipment and receive alerts on your smartphone or tablet. A team of qualified technicians can then be dispatched to carry out repairs efficiently, ensuring the comfort and safety of users.
  • You can monitor the energy performance of your street lighting fleet in real time and measure the energy savings made. So you can adjust your lighting strategy.

Our public lighting control systems are compatible with all types of lamps and luminaires.

Our company works with NERI, our partner in public and urban lighting, who supplies us with original, family-friendly, high-tech products.

Our team is on hand to offer you customised solutions for your urban lighting projects. Contact us today to benefit from our advice and to help you with your urban lighting project.

An illuminance study to optimise your street lighting installation

Before carrying out your lighting project, it is essential to carry out an illuminance study. To carry out this study, a team of experts is sent out to measure and simulate the levels of illuminance and uniformity obtained in the different areas to be lit (pavements, pavements, pedestrian crossings, etc.).

The illuminance study enables you to :

  • Choose the equipment best suited to your needs in terms of power, luminous flux, colour temperature, colour rendering, etc
  • Determine the number and location of light points, as well as their height and inclination
  • Comply with current public lightingstandards (NF EN 13201), which define performance requirements depending on the type and use of the roadway
  • Optimise your energy consumption
  • Improve visual comfort and user safety

A design office specialising in lighting. Our team will carry out a personalised lighting study for you and offer you customised solutions for your project.

Public lighting design and implementation: complying with local standards and constraints

Carrying out an outdoor lighting project means complying with the standards and regulations in force, as well as the specific characteristics of the area concerned.

Our teams work in compliance with the standards applicable to outdoor electrical installations, which are defined by NF C 17-200. This standard covers the following aspects

  • Network design and sizing
  • Choice and installation of equipment
  • Protection against electric shock, overcurrent and lightning

Regulations governing outdoor lighting aim to limit light pollution, preserve nocturnal biodiversity and reduce nuisance for local residents. They are established by the Environment Code (Articles L. 583-1 to L. 583-5) and Decree no. 2018-1186 of 19 December 2018.

Territorial constraints are linked to the geographical, demographic, economic and cultural characteristics of the area to be lit. They can influence the choice of equipment, illuminance level, colour temperature and lighting ambience.

We can help you with your outdoor lighting project, taking all these requirements into account. We’ll advise you on the technical solutions best suited to your context, and ensure that your equipment complies with current standards and regulations.

The different types of street lighting we offer

We can offerdifferent types of lampposts to suit your urban lighting needs, in collaboration with the Italian company NERI, which supplies the lampposts needed to complete your project.

These street lamps can come in different shapes, sizes and colours to match the style of your town. They can also be fitted with sensors or intelligent management systems to optimise their operation and make them easier to manage.

We prefer to use LED lamps, which consume less energy than traditional bulbs, last longer and produce better quality light. LED lamps are the most widespread on the market today.

There are several types of LED lighting available, depending on how the light is to be directed at the area to be lit:

  • Direct lighting: the floor lamp projects the light downwards without obstruction. It provides uniform, effective illumination of roads or other areas to be lit.
  • Indirect lighting: the floor lamp diffuses the light upwards or to the sides using a reflector or diffuser. This creates a softer, less dazzling light for users
  • Mixed lighting: the lamp post combines direct and indirect lighting to provide both functional and aesthetic lighting, without being too dazzling, and reducing the light pollution emitted. It provides lighting suited to public spaces.

A qualified team to maintain your public lighting control and automation system

Our teams don’t just carry out a simple study when it comes to choosing LED street lamps and integrating a lighting control and automation system. A team of technicians will also be on hand to help you maintain the system.

We maintain your lighting control and automation system to ensure that it works properly and lasts as long as possible. This maintenance involves regularly checking the condition of the lighting control and automation system, detecting and preventing faults or malfunctions, and cleaning, adjusting and replacing worn or faulty parts.

If a breakdown or incident is reported, a team is sent out to quickly repair or replace damaged or out-of-service components. Appropriate equipment that complies with current standards is used.

With Concept Light, you have a reliable partner for the maintenance of lighting control and automation systems. We offer you a guarantee on our products and services.
